Strategic Sourcing

We take your requirement to a vetted supplier base and come back with comparable options — price, MOQ and lead time on one sheet. Consolidating volume across categories is where the 8 to 15 per cent saving comes from.

Most buyers are not short of suppliers. They are short of comparable quotes. Three vendors answer the same enquiry with three different specifications, three different pack sizes and three different lead times, and the only way to compare them is to rebuild the whole thing in a spreadsheet.

We do that part. Your requirement goes out to suppliers we have already vetted, and comes back on one sheet where the columns actually line up — same specification, same quantity, landed price, MOQ and the date it can be on your site.

The saving usually comes from two places: consolidating volume that was previously split across vendors, and catching the specification that was over-engineered for the job. Both are easier to see when the options sit side by side.

What's included

  • Requirement mapped before anything is quoted
  • Enquiry issued to vetted suppliers only
  • Comparable quotes on a single sheet
  • Landed cost, including freight to your PIN code
  • MOQ and lead time confirmed, not estimated
  • Specification review where a cheaper option exists

How we run it

  1. 01 You send the list, the BOQ, or a description of what you need. A photograph of the old part is often enough.
  2. 02 We come back with questions if the requirement needs them — better a question now than a rejection later.
  3. 03 The enquiry goes to suppliers who already meet our checks for that category.
  4. 04 You get one comparison sheet, usually the same working day, and we flag where we think the best value sits.
  5. 05 On your approval we place the order and confirm the delivery date in writing.

Questions we get asked

How quickly do I get a quote?

Usually the same working day. Capital items with long lead times can take two to three days, and we tell you that when we acknowledge the enquiry rather than leaving you waiting.

Do I have to move all my spend across?

No. Most clients start with one category and widen once the first few orders land on time. That is the sensible way to test a supplier.

What if I already have an approved vendor?

Then keep them. We are useful where the vendor base is fragmented or where nobody has tested the price in a while — not as a replacement for a relationship that works.
